Safety & Disclaimer

The purpose of this site and important safety information

This site publishes results from a research and development project structuring classical East Asian medical literature and supporting clinical reasoning. It does not replace medical judgment or guarantee diagnosis, prescribing, or treatment effects. Do not use its content directly as the basis for medical decisions.

Purpose of This Site

The aim is to organize classical views of the body, diagnostic techniques, and treatment methods as structured resources that contemporary researchers and practitioners can compare and consult. The primary audience is clinicians, acupuncturists, East Asian medicine researchers, and medical historians. Although written for general readers as well, this is not a medical consultation service.

What This Site Does Not Do

What This Site Does

Verification Stages of Classical Texts

Classical texts on this site are handled according to their verification stage.

StageMeaningTreatment
Uncorrected OCR OutputMachine-read text processed by OCR, without proofreading.Reference material that may differ from the original.
TEXT_CLEANEDObvious reading errors corrected and paragraph structure organized.Source material for provisional Japanese reading texts.
Text VerifiedA stage following original-image comparison and expert verification. Not assigned at present.

Japanese reading texts and modern Japanese translations are research working materials (DRAFT), not finalized translations. Always consult the original when quoting a text.

Classical Knowledge and Modern Medicine

Classical formulas, points, and diagnostic methods were described through long clinical experience, but do not correspond directly to disease categories defined by modern medicine. Modern medical diagnoses cannot be made from abdominal, pulse, or point findings alone, and this site is not intended for that use.

About MLMN Theory

MLMN (Multi-Layered Meta-Network Theory) is an original research framework proposed by this project. It is not an established theory with academic consensus, but a proposed coordinate system for organizing clinical reasoning in East Asian medicine. Please consult it with its status as a research hypothesis in mind.
